2. Enter the original password in the correct box. Enter the new password, and repeat it in the

second ﬁ eld. Click on ‘Change Password’ to conﬁ rm the change, or ‘Cancel’ to abandon the

operation.

To delete a user;

1. Highlight the user account and click the ‘Delete User’ button. The account will be immediately

deleted. Ensure you select the correct account to delete as there is no conﬁ rmation stage.

Using the EDP from within NetVu Observer

The EDP will distribute the alarms to connected NetVu ObserVer operators. An operator will need to log on from

within ObserVer to use this facility.

To log into the EDP;

1. Open the EDP login window by clicking View -> Remote Event List

2. Enter a username and password for a valid registered user on the EDP

3. The system will display any forwarded alarms from the EDP in the Remote Events window.
